387 built, 58 in right-hand-drive for the UK market, 88 RHD in total.

 

Ordered July 10th 1975, order no #806 – specified in right-hand-drive, with a rosso cordoba metallizzato (106-R-7) exterior, and a pelle beige (VM 3234) interior, with Daytona inserts.  

 

Dispatched from Ferrari S.p.A. on September 17th 1975, ordered for the London Motor Show, Earls Court.

 

Ownership history:

 

1975 – 1987 - sold by Maranello Concessionaires Limited to A.L. Harding & Sons Limited, Stow Cambridgeshire on December 8th 1975 at a cost of £15,495.03, for J. McDonald Esq of Lancashire and Cambridgeshire, UK - and first registered KVE826P two days later. During his ownership, invoices are on file for routine servicing, always by A.L.Harding, incl maintenance and parts totalling £18,963.5.

 

1987 – 1991 - purchased by J. Ward Esq of Oxfordshire mid-year, #18685 was extensively rebuilt by Adams McCall Engineering, Bucks UK during 1988/89, including re-trimming by Moto-Trim, Surrey at a cost of £2397.75. Restoration costs totalled £35,544.31, during which time the car was re-painted rosso chiaro over nero, with moro carpeting.

 

1991 - 1995 – purchased by F.Jackson-Mills Esq of Edinburgh, who re-registered the Boxer, 3JOF.

 

1995 – 2005 - acquired by fourth owner, FOCGB member D McCarthy Esq of Surrey. Restoration and subsequent, routine maintenance bills total £71,091.97

 

First four owners spent £127,591.01 on the car

 

2005 – 2006 – sold to S. Sherwood Esq of Bucks, who spent £4,326.73 over two years. Routine servicing and invoices on file

 

2006 - 2009 – purchased via Legends Automotive Limited, on behalf of sixth owner R. Moore Esq of London W3, spending £3009.94.

 

1/9/09 – current – sold to current owner and entered into the FOCGB Northern Ferrari Day, finishing third overall in the pre-1975 Concours class.

 

Total spend for six owners - £134,927.68
