Vehicle Overview
First presented to the European public at the 2003 Frankfurt Motor Show, and Stateside at the same year's annual Pebble Beach Concours, the all new Pininfarina-styled Maserati Quattroporte V (M139) entered production in Modena, Italy in early 2004.
The fifth incarnation of Maserati's luxury four-seater range, it mated the Fiat Group-sourced M139 platform, to an uprated 4.2 litre V8 engine and a Ferrari-built, six-speed "Duo-Select" semi-automatic transmission and was capable of 0-62mph in 5.2 seconds, with a claimed top speed of 171 mph - making it lighter, faster and more nimble than the concurrently produced Maserati 4200 Coupe, Spyder and Gran Turismo models.
With a sumptuously appointed, hand-finished interior, which was justifiably the equal of any "Businessman's Express", the Quattroporte V was available to the UK market, via the Maserati main-dealer network, at a delivery price just under £80K.
Ch #ZAMCD39C000022656 with engine #101919 was supplied to its sole owner by Stratstone Maserati Manchester, and first registered on June 2nd 2006. Delivered in Blu Nettuno (exterior), complemented by an Avorio leather (interior), it was specified with the following optional extras:
