Delivered new in the UK, and first registered on October 10th 1977, via Maranello Concessionaires - #21149, UAY656S was registered to Mohamed Fayed of 60 Park Lane London W1.... ordered in argento, with a bordeaux interior, and Daytona style seating.
From the first full year of BB512 production, #21149 is one of just one hundred and one, right-hand drive examples delivered new to the UK market. Records suggest as few as eleven, RHD 512BB's were specified in this distinctive colour combination.
The car was predominantly used by his late son, Dodi Fayed, with invoices registered to a Surrey address, and serviced annually by Rardley Motors.
Purchased via Bramleys Limited, it entered its current ownership on July 6th 1984, with an odometer reading of 8,355 miles, Rardley continued to maintain the car, with the following invoices on file -

Circa £10k was spent by the vendor, in preparing the car for the 1994 FOCGB National Concours, at Cottesbrooke Hall Northampton. This involved him working on the car, in his free time at Rardley Motors - including an engine-out detailing of the bay area and repainting the lower half of the car, and front valance. #21149 achieved a second place in Class F.
